We have the Motorcycle and Tee Shirts, The Hurricane has passed through, The planets have come into alignment,
Now all we need is Sam.

Now here's one I don't have to reply to as I am using his computer. He's stood behind me laughing.

Arrived safe and sound with no signs of Ida, met up with Peter and Ed.
Bike was a little fast on idle but we fixed it.
I met up with Peters wife and we went for a few beers and a great big pizza.
They are all lovley people and it's about time for me to turn in, I've been awake for god knows how long, and I'm sure I'll sleep tonight.
Peter has just shown me a net pad that we will be taking with us so that we can keep in touch.

Hope you have a fantastic trip. Might as well just stay. Hell, we let that Scot Andy in. With that white outfit maybe you could get a wig and some sequin's and become an Elvis impersonator. We let Arabs and illegal Mexicans in. Thats the least we could do for a brother/dad.  

Next year come over a little earlier and join us on the SOHC4 Bonneville Tour 2010.

Jerry, you're a bit behind the times, The bike is already in the States, Peter and Ed bought it for me earlier this year and went through the carbs that were the only issue with the bike.
 Got to get ready to move now, will reply to other posts from Valdosta tonight.

Sam - whats the time line for coming to Boston? And how are you getting the bike back? If you pay my air ticket to South Carolina or where ever Ill ride it home for you...if its roadworthy ;-). Weather here is still mild enough (i.e. not freezing or snowing)....

Paul, It'll probably bee late afternoon I would guess.
Is there a cheap hotel near by as I won't be doing any night riding  after todays/tonights ride up to Valdosta, the lights on the automatic are crap.

In respect of the nice ride on your bike, or should I say Tracy's, next time you let me ride it, fix the bloody gas tank, I filled it to the brim and the gas started pissin out the gas guage sender unit lesson learn't, don't overfill Tracy's gas tank cos it leaks

What a memory you have!  Incredible.  I'm still pissed at them.  The HR guy flat out lied.  I remember I was cleaning out the ashetrays in front of the store, and one of the managers told me to stop taking long butts home.  I kid you not.  I thought he was kidding at first- but he was serious.
