I was supposed to leave almost 2 hours before I did, but the dinner I was supposed to go to was pale sucked compared to hanging with everyone at Mike's. Very similar to the weather we had up until last eve, a real gift.

Ben, this is my mates 500cc blown Triumph, it was the holder of the 500cc world standing start quarter mile, might still hold it :-\.
The bike on my sweat shirt I was wearing yesterday is the same bike, Sadley, Dave is no longer with us. :(
And what a coincidence, that video was posted about the time we were talking about 500cc Triumphs at the party. ::)

Thanks, I found some photos and an explaination and history of Dave and his set up here:

pretty wild set up it was too. The quickest I ever saw riding the H1 on pump gas was high 11's in '72-73. I thought that was  fast, I didn't know anything, and am nothing today if not consistant. ;D

I'm hoping to get the clutch assembly for my build and the case plug Mike needs over there before you go. I would more prefer that we have a local beer night with you before the end of your vacation indentured servitude in Murphy's basement. What day are you leaving? Is it possible to get together Wednesday eve? I'll post on the the NEHG site for the local guys when I hear from you.
