Stop at my usual fill up station before heading out on the K6 for some afternoon riding. In the 50's today so it was nice and my 38 year old 750 goes down the road so good it makes it even more pleasurable ;) Can you imagine what the factory 341's are going to look on it 8)

The 750 K7 and K8 are not the Lepers of the SOHC world.

I honestly believe that distinction should rest with the CB650....

Just saying........

...footpeg

Edit--> ...here is a picture of the K1 without the stopper.
Ah yes, the footpeg would work. Kinda lame though.  :o

My K0 and K1 don't have the little bracket welded to the frame to take up the slack in the pedal, or the little bracket welded onto the pedal. To adjust the angle, you just turn the pedal on the spline. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Sorry Tim, I should have said that they're the Lepers of the SOHC750 world. I don't know much about the 650, when it came out it was too little, too late, and there were much better bikes on offer from Suzuki and Kawasaki. I'm sure they're a competent bike, just forgettable in the SOHC4's history. ;D

Yeah mate, looks good, but being that the Kawasaki Z650 or Suzuki GS750 was selling DOHC bikes that were faster than CB750's at the same time that the CB650 came out, it was, as I said, too little, too late. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I know, its sounds sus doesn't it. I've got rego coming up in a few months so had to get it in order. Not to mention that you need one on our OZ roads, as you well know.

PS: Is your bike yellow or gold? Looks nice.

After stripping off the old paint from my F2 tank, I found pin holes and soldered them up. Then went over the tank with bog (Oz for bondo) to smooth out minor imperfections. Even though it was a hot day It didn't go off completely so I have to scrape it all off and do again. Maybe this should be in the pissed off thread?

Exactly right, water jetted. I countersunk the holes and then lapped both sides on a granite surface plate to flatten it perfect.

My K1 doesn't have a stopper either.

Changed master cylinders as I got one re-sleeved but the shop that did it drilled a bigger hole than they were supposed to. Now the pin hole is bigger. Filled it with fluid and got the air out. Firm lever now.

Also ran the K1 and topped it up with oil. Washed it as well. Time for a ride...I wish.

Picked up my muffler from the welder.

Better Half and I are moving into a house with a garage and workshop this week, so bike will be coming to me soon! No more driving to the in-laws to work on it! Things will get done MUCH faster now. Will be utilizing my father in law's chain hoist one last time to do front end work, then it is back to me for re-assembly!
