I have front blinkers if you need

I do.  Don't you owe me?! Ha!

You need them? Really? That's new! Have seen your bikes blinkers less. Ha!

They're yours.  I just have to find the time to dig them out

I'm turning over a new leaf! The back ones are good and work, and what's left of the fronts are damaged, so have to do something.
Need a L fork ear while you are digging.   Thanks Gold Dude.

PS. Where's your Relay ride report??

I woke up early n went and looked at a 77 cb125s. Ended up buying it for 300 after I took it for a spin down the back lane in -15..   Great day

Rode my 1977 550F to work on this lovely 50 degree day.  It is amazing after 37 years that it runs like a top.  Original silencer at Brown's getting new chrome.

Rode to work on this lovely 63 degree morning.

Rode my 1975 CB750 to work this am too. Was a great ride. Kinda took my time, and enjoyed the cool wind in me face. Must have bumped something in the electrics....cause rear LED tail light stayed bright at idle. Normally it goes dim when idling.

Life is good today..........

Got some washers and M8 35mm socket heads in stainless. Need them for my MAC header, and going to grind some of the washers down for the top triple spacers. Lots of leftovers, might be giving them away once bike is back on the road.

A word of caution: if your washers are even slightly thinner than the original spacer (most standard hardware is) the clamp will still break.

Search for my thread in Tips and Tricks for the proper thickness.

Hi Dimitri13,
What was the snag you had,a circlip problem ?

The fork spring sticks out over an inch. Not sure that's supposed to be like that.

Dimitri13....compress the springs with the caps and screw them on.
You're good  ;)  It's just a small amount of pre-load.
There might be a washer between the spring and fork cap.

Dang, that's gonna be a bit tough. Don't want to put them in the triple tree, and I can't lay em down.

yep, takes a bit of leverage.  hunk of wood on the floor might work.

I use tall/deep socket on the cap so I can hold better when trying to screw the cap on, also position the cap thread to where it's about to go on the thread in fork, push and turn, shouldn't take too much

Going to my garage tonight to prep my bike for a small camping trip upstate ny this weekend.

Also, bought myself some new, stock length fork tubes. I was sick of my 4" extended tubes and crappy handling. That combined with my tapered race bearings, my handling is going to be spot on (swing arm bushings next)!

hey Dimitri...since its out of the trees, grab a buddy or your signif other, and while you press the cap down onto the tube, have them grab the tube and turn it until its in all the way.  then torque it.
boom.
done.
