Do we have someone planning or can do a handoff at the Maryland  Delaware border?

OK I am catching up on this thread.  Looks like I will be heading down from charleston on Saturday to meet the crew in Sav/Bluffton.  Will bring the tent and sleeping bag for good weather and the CC for bad weather.  Then ride from Bluffton to Columbia and then back to Charleston on Sun.  Now for which bike to ride.  I may have to ride the chopper and be the first sohc chopper, or the 550 bobber as it fits nicely into a first floor hotel room.  Or the Italian Honda if I get off my butt and get the gas tank fixed.

anyone in Chuck town want to ride with me?????

Ugh...just found out I am getting ropped in to overnight DST validation on work servers the night we are in Bluffton. So basically I will be working all night from the hotel. Will be packing my laptop on the trip. I might look like warmed over death Sun morning when we head out but it's nothing a Monster and a cold shower can't fix.

Allright! Finally got some company! However far you want to ride is fine, there should be some good photo ops in St. Augustine if you can go that far. You would have heard from me soon since I plan on contacting as many of the Florida members as I can to see if I could drum up some more participation.

Glad to have you onboard! I'll be contacting members as we get closer to exchange cell phone numbers and confirm schedule dates.

You'll be in fine company riding with Peter (Peterbylt) on the first leg. 8)
He's a real ugly mother but he's my mate and I love him. :D :D :D
I rode with Peter from Tampa up to Valdosta GA. It was a great ride but keeping up with him was a nightmare ;D ;D ;D The bigest problem was that you Ameicans all ride on the wrong side of the road, ::) the only thing I can thank you lot for is, you copied our drag strips and you run the same two lanes in the same direction. :D :D :D :D :D :D
Have a safe ride guys and God be with you. 8)

It will be cold on the Parkway too, but I hope we have nice weather for Sam at Rockingham!

BTW - Jerry got some traction with Motorcycle Classics magazine:

I'm riding up to the Charlotte meeting point (the Panther's Stadium) this afternoon to get a firm address. I'll hit you guys up with co-ordinates, times, and contact info tonight.

I just signed up to the forum after hearing about the relay from MC. I am in Occupied Virginia about an hour out of WV. I have a '77 naked Old Wing (it is a SOHC 4, just horizontally opposed not in line) that wants me to find out when y'all will be up this way and if we can help the cause. Could possibly even help with accomodations if I can convine the wife (spare room, pull out sofa bed, old bike barn with tools (wife has no say here), within 20 miles of two Honda dealers). Thanks.
Enjoy the ride!

Cool crisp air makes for a happy Honda, and neither you nor your bike would like it here in the Summer.    ;)
Looking at the schedule for Saturday the 19th, your class (Street ET) begins at 10:00 AM.  Have I got that right?
