Glad you didn't pilfer them from the R in the background
Indeed, the Sachs S1000RR front forks are a common upgrade for the RNineT -- for those who don't want to spring for the Ohlins replacements!

Ya, I looked at those for a hot minute until I saw the $2,500 price tag! Don't get me wrong, I've spent some quality money on this bike but that was just a little to much right now. Found these for a much more respectable number.
I thought I was pretty meticulous with my first-timer engine refurbishing job, but WHOA.I love the color scheme you've got going here, too, especially the color on the tank. All in all, very nice work
Just finished going through the entire thread. Outstanding work on this book. Definite BOTM material when you get this beauty finished.
A "budget" hydraulic clutch set up. No mods to the cover. Approximately $110.

That looks like a Magura, but they are intended for modern motocross clutches so I'm not sure how they would hold up on a larger vintage street bike? Here is a link: http://www.cross-center.com/en/magura/slave-cylinder/

It's not nearly as sophisticated a solution as Goddfery's but he says it's reliable. He's running a 1000cc Russ Collins motor.

Zeffcat, I could make you a slave kit for the 750. Making and installing an adapter plate for those are not as complex as the 550's are. If your on a tight budget, I could design it to use a stock slave cylinder from another model Honda. They are not nearly as sexy or warranted for life like the Oberon but can be had pretty cheep.
Motoscope looks great. What’s your plan for the speed sensor?
