New here but not to Honda's or bikes
« on: September 21, 2011, 02:18:38 PM »
Hello fellow riders!
I have been riding motorcycles since I rebuilt my first Honda 50 at 14 YO.
It has only gotten better after that.
In the Honda section of my stable, i currently own an '83 XL500R, '87 XR600R, 2002 XR650R and a '76 CB750F.
I also own several DR Suzuki's, a Kawacker GPZ750A, several GS Suzuki models and a '92 GSX1100G.
Hoping to find some help on my latest acquisition the '76 CB750F.
Here's hoping that I found the right place.
As pictures are always helpful, here is the 750 when I picked it up:

(Apparently, not allowed?)

And after I first got her to fire up:

(You tube video of it running for the first time in 10+ years. Also not allowed?)

I just tried to post a couple of pic's from my Photobucket account and the video is on Youtube.
So, how do I post those???

Everyone loves pic's and video's am I wrong?   ???

And WHY do I have to unscramble words and answer a question each time that I post?
Does that come to an end after so many posts? It is irritating.

Understood that there is a break-in period for newbees.
Anyhow, just go to Youtube and type: '76 CB750F back from the grave
in the search box.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Sorry but part of our spam protection involves not allowing newbs to post links (and hence external pictures) until they've made a few posts.

How many posts before I can stop dealing with the annoying scrambled words and question?

After some parts have been arriving in the mail, it is starting to look like a running bike again!
The handlebar is from a '79 Suzuki GS1000 and looks closer to stock than those clubman bars.
