Hey guys, Just picked up a 77CB750F2 Super Sport, put a new " Charged" battery into it and turned the key.......NOTHING!
No lights no click...NOTHING. I'm new and just ordered 3 different manuals, Haynes, Clymer, and reprint shop manual coming Thursday, tomorrow. What should I do or check and how??

Standard electrical troubleshooting. Electrical troubleshooting starts by figuring out what it's not. It's not the battery, so from there you go to the fuse box. With the key "on" check for voltage on both sides of the fuse. From there start testing circuit voltage downstream until you reach the point where the voltage stops. Most of you measurements will be inside the headlight bucket. Check the connections to and from the ignition switch. A faulty ignition switch will cut power to everything just as a blown main (15A) fuse. The harnesses are pretty basic, follow the wiring diagrams and here is a link to an interactive wiring diagram that allows you to turn different circuits on and off. It is for the earlier K models, but the later K and F models aren't that much different:

What Wilbur says.  But before you dig too deep, just look at it and check grounds - it could be dirty.

Also obvious butchered places.  The fuse box is known to go bad, etc..

I would bet it is less than a sixpack job

Key switches on these models are pretty much guaranteed to fail, if not bad already

Thanks guys. Going to check everything suggested on the weekend. Like I said this is my first build. Very excited but know I have a lot of hard work ahead of me.
