To begin I'd like to state that the 2011 SOHC4 Relay Rally was an amazing event and amazingly successful considering all the bumps in the road. You guys pulled it off!! WOW
Godzilla v1.1 New Zealand is still on the road. GZ v1.2 Australia to begin soon followed hopefully by GZ v1.30 Europe with GZ v1.31 England being the start there. Not sure what those guys can do but it will be up to them. All I ask is that GZ and all the paraphernalia be sent home to me.

As usual it's up to our members and guests to make this happen. But did we wear ourselves out on this? Can you boys/gals pull this off?
Now from my corner - I don't think I can commit myself in 2012 like I did in 2011. Yes, it was quite an undertaking but it was an untaking of love on my part. I love these old bikes and I love to ride. It started from a simple idea from another member and I jumped in with some ideas and built it. All our members made it happen, that wasn't me. I asked for help and got it. Members became necessary coordinators. Members helped their coordinators. Members rode. Members met other members. Members repaired bikes and rode. They rode through blue skies, tornadoes, snow storms, 100+ degrees, below 20 degrees, a few miles and thousands of miles but through all those miles the best part was those S-MILES (SMILES)! One thing that it became for me was a distraction from a divorce that began 2 months after I first brought up the concept. And it's still not over yet but there is light at the end of my tunnel soon! YES! Through all this I still do NOT have my bike put back together which I really need to do. Working on getting my sanity back together first. Don't want to have to borrow a bike this year like in 2011
I'd like to find a member or members that would step up and keep this crazy #$%* going! Has to be someone that can take input impartially and can make tough decisions after analyzing all that input. Has to be someone that can manage and organize. Pay is not much. Gratitude and friendships are your payment. You'd better be a people person!! I'll guarantee you that I am better in all those aspects than I was a year ago!
Whew.... I've only had 1 child in all my years and now I feel I'm an adoptive dad to masses. Some of the guys have been tossing around alternate ideas for 2012 but that will only work
IF we have a 2012 Rally! It doesn't have to be like 2011 but that is/was successful and we know how it works. v1.0 is in the books successfully. I can provide support and advise. We need first a leader then the debate/ideas can come together.
Now is the time to get started. Trust me - NO TIME TO WASTE FROM NOW ON OUT! It's gotta get started and soon.
