Team Pacific Northwest 2012: ID, OR, WA, MT, WY, AB, BC
« on: April 18, 2012, 09:45:23 PM »
OK so here we go :D. So I've decided to pick up the reins and get our region going. First off I'm gonna need to make a list of riders in our area, I will go through the list of signed up riders but please go ahead and post here if you'd like. I would kind of like to set up a meet and greet/planning session early next month (hoping to do it in Portland, Or.) I would also like to start a discussion on a proposed route.
So please give your two cents and lets get moving ;D ;D

Thanks,
Mickey

Okay I know I am not in your region but I am the only rider in Utah currently so when you guys are planning routes I will probably be the guy meeting your Idaho leg let me know what you are all thinking there and I will see what I can do.

I am watching this. I can get to Utah or I can get to Wyoming. Or meet up someplace in Idaho. Whatever works.

Where are you at Ofreen? The leg for me into Twin falls is a bit long but I don't want to leave you with a million miles either.

If Snowville works for you we could meet there and I would ride up with you to the state line.

thanks for chiming in boys. If the two of you are able to arange the hand off to Idaho that would be great. I have a feeling I'm gonna be riding to Idaho to get Godzilla to Oregon. So if you two are comfortable with that, that wold be great. If not no biggie we'll figure something out, even if I have to make the ride. June 2 seems early to me. Is Godzilla running ahead of schedule? I thought he wasn't gonna hit our area until the 9thish.

Sounds great Ofreen I will tentatively plan on Snowville then on the 2nd of June. Unless GZ is late.

Actually Mickey6 if the schedule holds he is right on time in Salt Lake City on the 2nd. My schedule is just a bit tight so I only have a couple of days I can ride.

It is not "some kind of rally ride". It is THE World Famous v2.0 2012 SOHC4.net Relay Rally. Take a look around and you'll see what this is all about. v1.0 did 20,000 miles in North America last year then shipped to New Zealand for their riding season and is completing the Australian leg currently before shipping to Europe for their riding season. In the mean time our next riding season is upon us so v2.0 aka 2012 is in high gears across the US as we speak. Dates are arbitrary and depend on those ahead of you. Routes are what you make them. Just join in and show us your part of the US as most have probably never seen it. You are our eyes on your part of the world.

And, as the originator, I will/have officially designated the 2.25 months limited production run 1975 CB750F as THE OFFICIAL BIKE OF THE SOHC4.NET RELAY RALLY AROUND THE WORLD. I don't flex my muscles too often but it is necessary at times  ;) Thought you'd be proud  ;D

Seems appropriate inasmuch the F0's, as has been documented many times, were hand built by Soichiro himself. ;)

I'm still in as well.
Been spending my time on ADVRiders getting a bike ready for the OBCDR this fall and not here.
Thought we were getting close and I'd better check in.

I have a little work to get done by June:  new tires, true rear wheel, and sync my carbs.  But, overall, I'm ready to go.
Up for a meet and greet soon as well.

I'm in from Vancouver BC.  I could probably get it to the Interior, or pickup from the Washington riders.
What's the timeline so far? I'm pretty open in June.

June 16 is approaching fast.
Wheels are true and new rubber's been mounted.
I'll get to the carbs soon, but truth is I can ride her like she is, so I'm ready.
Except for not having any details about where to be when....

GZ is in Colorado.  If the schedule sticks, I am to pick him up in Utah June 2.  I'll take him into Nevada then into Idaho.  When Mickey gets back on here we can figure what is next.  I can take him into Oregon.

sorry I haven't been on much. I hate to be the one to come in with bad news, but my bike is no more. I laid it down, when I got up it was under a guys truck >:(. I think it may be saveable but there's no way I could have it on the road in time :'(. So nows the time where I must bow out of being able to ride in the relay this year.... unless someones got a loaner bike. So with this coming up I/we need a rider to meet Greg at least near Idaho. I'll be checking in regularly so I can see if we can figure something out.
