cheftuskey,
If you want to go completely without wheel weights, use DynaBeads.
 DynaBeads demo video

Thanks godffery. I looked into those but I like the look of the vintage style wheel weights and have had no issues with them as of yet.

Well then...
You really want the vintage look, You could go with the old led solder trick:

Tews- have you solved the spacer riddle for your calipers mounted on the hayabusa rotors? I still havent gotten around to having them made. If you haven't would you be willing to have mine made along with yours. I would pay you for them as well as shipping if youre up for it. I dont know any shops thats would be willing to make me 5mm think spacers.

Just chimming in for a sec.
I used this style fishing led weights to balance wheels before. Work great, just pull the rubber from the center. And will crimp down on the spokes just fine.

Tews/Jojo - give me the dimensions of the spacer you need. I'll get it made up and send them over to you.

My buddy is in the midst of making some scampers for me for axles and calipers on a different bike and can easily turn out a few cylinders without a bother. They'll be turned from aluminum as a point of info. You can PM me the details of what you need.

Sorry for not responding earlier Jojo.. I have been busy as it's wrestling season here for my boys. Pretty much nothing has been done. I somehow forgot to mail off the manifolds with the rest of my parts to Mrieck. Sent those out and now waiting to see what he recommends....

Calj I have the spacers made already. I do need them machined inside a but to fit properly. If you can't get them for Jojo I can try to hook him up..

Let me know Jojo.

Tews - he sent me the dimensions I'm just looking for another bit of info from him. Can you snap a pic of the spacer in place so I can clearly get it. I'm picturing the spacer between the shock mounting boss and the caliper. If so, how many are needed for the install? What size bolt is used through the spacer?

From his dim's, plunge a reamer, turn the outside, then cut off 5mm lengths like slicing bread. Am I missing something?

10mm spacers for the caliper's. Need them when using the Hayabusa rotors to clear the spokes.

Tews/JP - the dimensions I received indicated a spacing of 5MM, yet Tews you're using 10MM. Which is correct?

Mine only require 5mm since I'm using a different font end. They clear the spokes but are needed to center the pads on the rotor

Well no progress and there won't be due to a tragedy in the family. This won't fall the waste side but figured I would post as there will not be any updates for a while.

Hope you all have a safe and Happy New Year.
