Home safe. Pics and stories on the way. Proto, what's your mileage totals looking like? I've got about 1800 and I'm guessing Kens got about 2000.

I rolled into Craig at five this afternoon.  Total mileage was 2779 with 1184 of those with GZ on board.  I will post some pics manana.  Bike ran great.  The turn signal flasher gave up the ghost while crossing the eastern plains of Colorado.  That was the only mechanical issue and that was a quick fix.

Proto,
Glad you had a good trip. Looking forward to your pics. It's been kind of light on those.
I'd love to see the route that GZ takes with each rider.
Rolling out in the morning :)
Will hook up with Justin midweek.

Sorry about lack of pictures so far on this rally, but I think everyone involved is just now getting home, even the CA riders!!  I tried posting some from my "smart phone" along the way but pictures were too large to post and I could not figure out how to change the size.  Had to wait until I got home and downloaded the camera.

Here are some of mine:

Camping in Santa Barbara - El Capitan State Park

Air cooled, 4 cylinder brethren.

Hand-off in Santa Clarita

Another sweet F.

Godzilla was a little bit pissed about that. He was pretty sure he could see the missing Malaysian airliner off in the distance and that was why they wouldn't let us in.

Next hand-off.

So far, nothing but Fs.

Proto and Toytuff

Found a small oasis in Needles, CA and stopped by for a quick dip. Got kicked out after about 5 minutes when the manager found out we weren't paying guests.

Another oasis - Lake Havasu.

So much to do, so little time.

Not a bad place to be stranded.

Many thanks to Bill at B&M Cycles for the hospitality!

Waiting for the part from Cycle Exchange.

London Bridge!

Still waiting for that part.

Some really nice looking boats out there.

A cousin of Pimpzilla, I believe.

NM and TX.

Left Justin's and headed NW across Oklahoma into Eastern Colorado.  Had another great tailwind!  I think a few tumbleweeds actually passed me at one point!  Made it to Lakewood, CO Saturday night and after studying all the road condition reports for CO and WY the next morning, I decided to detour up to I-80 in WY and avoid all the icy and snowpacked roads in CO.  Dropped down to Baggs, WY and then onto Craig.  Did hit snow flurries and rain but roads were clear.  Did do battle with a ferocious Wyoming headwind though.  Had to run in fourth gear most of the way to keep up with traffic.

It was a fantastic road trip!  Met some new SOHC members and saw some beautiful country.  Pleased with the performance of the bike, especially with the 18/48 sprockets.

Still waiting for that part to show up.

Shucks, it finally showed.

Ty, the mayors brother, helped me put a new tire on. Sweet man-cave he's got there.

Celebrating a running bike, last night in Havasu.

When this pulled up to the motel I was afraid we might never get out of there.

Hanging out at a friends house in Long Beach on the way home.

Another quick pit stop in Huntington Beach.

Camping in Big Sur, last night of our tour.

Till next time y'all!

Wending my way up to Justin's. Last nite and tonite at Palo Duro Canyon state park.  Spent today at Sharps Honda in Amarillo having a new rear tube installed. It was worth it it to talk with the guy behind the counter. Also named Steve. (You meet the nicest Steve's on a Honda :)
Head to Justin's tomorrow, pick up GZ and head back down. State highway 16 from Witchata Falls to Kerrville.
Found a new mascot for next year's.
Pictures later.

Hope you got it fixed by now. There is a collar on the sprocket side, I'm sure you figured that out.

Gotta ask Steve, both wheels or same one twice?  Either way, that's just bad luck, although it sounds like the "bests" outweighed the flats.  Congrats on the trip & keeping Pimp moving!  Hey where are all the pics being posted?
