How about we update the thread title to Sam Green Updating from the UK? Sam's no longer in the hosp and I hope he never has to again. Glad you're doing well Sam.

Good to hear mate.  I've been to the pub with you Sam, I doubt that £8.00 would have covered half the beer for the night ;D

Not as bad as when there was that crappy Elvis impersonator there, you needed to drink more to try and make him sound better ;D.

On the whole we are both well, but we are having a waiting game now, Hannah is due to pop in just over 4 weeks and we have been told by the doctors that bub is likely to come early.  I guess time will tell ;D.

Thanks Sam, it is meant to be a girl, Hannah has had a few scans and every time they say it's a girl so there is a pretty good chance they have it right.

That Elvis impersonator was shocking, not to mention loud. My ears were ringing for two days after that night. It's hard to believe that it was nearly two years ago we were over there last. I only wish we could afford for both of us to come over next year. :-\

I've just had a visit from the Neurological Rehab teams Physiotherapist and she was over the moon with my progress.
All the broken bones are knitting together nicely and she could not see any ongoing problems.
I just need to get a little more exercise and she is going to send me some ideas through the post of what she wants me to concentrate on.
Things are looking up people, thanks for all the continuing get well soon messages, they really are appreciated.

Glad to hear the doctor's optimism. I had a pretty good feeling that your recovery would go well. As far as a "full" recovery...

Are they aware of what you had (or lacked) to start with?  :o

How long before you can throw a leg over a small bike and go for a spin, Sam? And when on earth are they going to prescribe 1 litre arm curls as part of your physio???? The pubs needs your business  ::)

I doubt that Jonathan will let me throw a leg over a motorcycle again, I'm not even allowed to drive my car yet.
The arm is getting some exercise already down the pub, drinking COFFEE and WATER. :( :( :(
They will get by without me consuming any alcohol. hahaha.
It also might be a long while before I fly again chaps so don't bank on seeing me at Valdosta any time soon.
I really am going to miss you all. :(
