Seals are easy, just look up your local bearing & seals distributor.
All you need is the size / numbers on the outer surface of the seal, if you cant read the #, just measure the OD, ID & Depth needed. Something like this: "36x57x13" They are all pretty standard.  Honda doesn't actually make any bearing or seals, they order them directly from manufactures.

Well, shoot! If it's that easy, don't worry about it. However, that link provides 57 vendors that you need to then contact to see if they make that particular size seal.  Hmmmm . . . .

Don, I just did something similar with the front end and wheels I'm using, I took a wheel and front axle  and the guy at the bearing shop got me all the bearings and seals I needed, nothing in my application is stock either, easy..., just getting spacers sorted out now..

Been a while since I posted here, everything's been running beautifully so far .

Did run into a little weird thing where I hear a noise when I hit larger bumps up in the higher RPM range. The noise actually sounds like if you were to take a chain, like a little thin chain such as a necklace chain, and drop it on something metal repeatedly.

I actually suspected the tank cap chain but I removed that, went for a ride and the noise is still there.

I also seems to notice that the bike seems to have a more whisssshhhh noise at idle. I don't know if tiny leaks in the exhaust would make this sound but my next plan is to remove the headers, inspect it and install with new crush gaskets.

Thoughts?

I definitely have a screw loose or two, I make all kinds of strange noises.

It does sound like it's on the exhaust side but I could be wrong. I'll have to do more listening. I've had exhaust ticking before and this isn't similar. You're probably right that it's not related to the exhaust.

Yeah Stev-o, fixed! It was a really weird noise but I grabbed the headlight bezel as I was riding at 7k rpm and it went dead quiet. Tightened the bezel screws with a little blue loctite and all's good. No pictures, just visualize a screw that is backed out a little, haha.

Kinda funny, I don't have a tool kit on my bike because I'm stupid, so I rode to a Home Depot which was around the corner from where I was. I was directed to the Tool Rental Center. The guy thought I wanted to rent a phillips driver for the day. "No, dude, just let me borrow the screw driver for 60 seconds." He wanted me to leave my $250 helmet and license as collateral. "I swear I won't steal your $7 screw driver, buddy."

Not the 650 yet . That's still in pieces. Waiting on extra cash to get a cam (from you) and misc. engine parts like chains and seals and such. But my 550 is running like a champ!

Little things seem to be happening now, haha.

Yesterday I noticed that the bike was louder than normal...but not when idling, only when riding when the RPMs are over 6k. Not gradual either, which is the weirdest thing, it's like a light switch. Once I hit 6k RPM it gets significantly louder. Once I drop below 6 it goes away, but then once I go back up it goes loud again. Seems to be coming from the front of the bike and not the tail pipe. No power difference or anything I can notice by feel. Happens in any gear and any throttle position. I just removed the exhaust to inspect it for holes and see the state of the exhaust gaskets. All's in good shape and no signs of leaking at the gaskets. Going to reinstall the exhaust with new gaskets.

Super strange, anyone have any ideas? It doesn't really bother me but it's distracting so I want to figure this out.

Jeepers creepers, it's the headlight again. Much different than the first sound, haha. This one actually sounds like exhaust...pretty good exhaust too. I should have known. I really got to do something about this. Doesn't help that it's an all metal bucket and ring. It's acting like a resonator.

Can you add some thin rubber strips between the ring and bucket to absorb some vibration?
