Topic: Fuel filter replacement '78 CB750

Hi guys, I believe I am looking for a replacement fuel filter (it's just behind the petcock?). The one I have (which has outlet and inlet at 90 degrees to each other) snapped where the inlet meets the cone. I am contemplating gluing it back on but would rather get a new one. I search but couldn't find any particular sites or brands recommended. I've seen a few online ranging from $3-$12..most are linear in orientation unlike the one I have. Any particular recommendations for a good fuel filter?

The CB750 did not come stock with an inline fuel filter.  The PO must have added it.

There have been reports that these filters can slow fuel flow, I personally will not run one.  If your tank has rust issues, it would be best to address it.

Stev-o is entirely correct of course, you should not need an in-line filter if your tank and petcock are clean. Personally though, I do use them (mixture of OCD and peace of mind )and would recommend a Visu-filter if you are still planning on getting one. I haven't noticed any discernible effect on flow, but can only speak for myself of course.

The in-tank filter works for me. The new one comes with the petcock gasket, Honda part number 16952-388-015.
