Well, since we're having to guess at the year and model, I'm going to guess that the fuel tank has a door, and that we're dealing with a 77/78 K or any SS or A model. The clear tube is the fuel overflow from the fuel cap well under the door. Better to have it drain on the ground under the engine as opposed to it dumping down on to the top of a hot engine.

The black hose with the plug is from the water separator that is part of the PCV system and should have the plug pulled for the hose to drain as part of the regular tune-up procedures. It can be shorter, but I would retain it as long as the separator under the battery tray is in place. I imagine the foam filter media inside this separator has long since disintegrated, so you might want to inspect it. I use the green foam filter media that is used on lawnmower engines as a replacement, just cut to fit.

You elaborated before I finished!   ;)

The overflow tube from the fuel tank is shown on the parts fiche as 9mm. 3/8" would probably work.

Just found something interesting regarding the 3.5mm and 5.5mm hoses.

http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine/honda~bulk~tube~35x1m~95001-35001-60M.html

http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine/honda~bulk~hose~95001-55003-60M.html

It seems they use the same part number for the Honda CR-V.  LOL

Rafi,

Part of my point was the price of the CR-V hoses.  :)
The 3.5mm hose in particular.  :)  :)

Also, the tubing that comes out the bottom of the carbs (overflow I think).
I can't find the specs on that hose.  Do you know what size it is?  It does look like it's smaller than 3.5mm.

And Thanks for the part numbers!!!!  They have been entered into my notebook.  :)

Thanks,

Charlie

3.5mm is the right size or at least I believe it now, just installed it last night along with the wire clamps from Honda, very snug fit if you ask me.
