Racer head count for Valdosta.Man Cup
« on: August 27, 2015, 08:10:12 AM »
Alright fellas, can we get a racer head count for the upcoming race at Valdosta's Man Cup race in November??? I mean those who actually plan to throw a leg over an SOHC bike and make a pass down the 1320. Not that our non-racing friends are unimportant, but I'm simply trying to get an idea of the number of race bikes we can expect. I know Bill will probably have 2 bikes in his camp. Hopefully Trey will bring his own bike this time. TurboD seems inclined to come, hoping Larry will have his race bike ready. George, what's your plan buddy?? Who else has thoughts of coming.

So how about a head count for our non racing friends??? Jerry, Mike and the rest of the gang.

I have to admit, I have been bitten by the road race bug lately and have been distracted.  My engine will be ready, I might be able to get the dragter ready and tested in time.  I have a lot going on, so I can't give a solid yes at this point.  Plus I'm a bit intimidated regarding Billy's secret weapon :o

I think I have an idea of what else could be in that trailer  ;)

I'll be there with my K5 and hopefully a few friends will tag along for the ride. We have BIG plans for the finals. So it would probably be in any SOHC'ers best interest to make an effort to make it! We all mentioned how much fun we had after finals last year and how this year was going to be so much better. It sure looks to be the case  ;D

Pena motor in one of those nicer wheelie bar chassis would be my educated guess. At least that's what I would do if I wanted to set a new record in super eliminator. Yeah, I've had a few discussions with the guys that run the class.  Now is the time to get your name in the books before anyone else jumps in and lowers the bar on each designation. Ain't that right Billy.

Hah, y'all keep guessing, but remember there's only 24 hours in a day!!  I got a turbo bike to sort out and build. Hint, Pena motor and bike maybe in April, gotta do IT right!!! Hmm, so what can I build that wouldn't take so much time?
Someone post Frank's Memphis run on here. I put it on YouTube this morning,  Bill Love those pics of Hotrod Chrissy!  K. C'mon to Valdosta  ;D

Has Mike shipped SamA engine back? That would be the easiest. Don't know of another one that is close and you haven't let on to the last 2 hauls much??

Lol Jerry. I'd like to say I posted that to see who was paying attention but the fact of the matter is, I forgot October falls in between now and the Cup race. Hahaha. Yeah, I'm loosing it. Maybe it's because I'm anxious to see how many SOHC bikes are coming to race at this event.
