Tool box full of Honda service tools
« on: November 05, 2017, 03:50:53 pm »
I came across an add on Craigslist for a tool box full of tools.  I started looking at the pictures and quickly realized it was full of Honda dealership specialty tools.  I've never seen such a collection even tool box was a Honda box with diagrams of the tools on the bottom of each drawer.  I just had to buy it..

Those ring compressors   look like one hand to put on, then they hold themselves.
Do you think its all bike tools? Which box were they in? Any doubles ? Nice score.

Yes all Honda or kowa tools it's the big tool box 50"x60". And all the drawers are full.  A lot of paperwork from the dealership the box came from.

That is truely an amazing score.  The 72" long harbor freight  is $1000 and the 60" is $700-750 on sale.  They are pretty good tool chests, but not as many drawers as that.  The Snap-On chest is $3000 for one that size but only 12 drawers if I recall correctly.
That probably is $15-18k of tools when bought separately today .  Those are some Cool Tools.

Factory service manuals will tell you which you need for the bikes you have or may want.  You could sell off individually the others, but it is worth far more kept together.

Great collection of tools if you wanted to offer Honda work as a side job or retirement job.
