it's the gutter demons (it says it right at the end)  ;)

So lil miss Inkscars has inadvertently renamed this bike "Gutter Brat"

i like it when bikes kinda name themselves  (i'm the same way with pets too) and when she suggested it for the video title , it was like a slap in the face and a light bulb over my head at the same time .... it's such a fitting name ...... perfect

Just a couple of dudes.  Hangin out.  Naming a bike.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Was the plate still attached to the bracket or did that get found?

so the final word is in ... and after dumping this bike , i am quite proud of my work , and that some of my ideas worked flawlessly ..  i said i wanted this bike to look utilitarian ,  but it really IS utilitarian

so the reason the damage isn't a lot worse is , when building the bike i used heavy wall industrial grade tubing , so my pegs ,shifter, and brake pedal  acted like sliders , ans saved the motor .. the handlebars also didn't bend at all
you can see the driver peg bent in only slightly , pretty good ,considering it took the weight of the bike

some lil scratches to fix

the mirror didn't make it

broke the bracket right off at the weld .. gonna have to weld the next one alot more

was tryin to get the light shinin in the right spot , to show that the dent is gone

i couldn't feather-edge the green without messing up the swirl , so there is a pretty hard line right here
i tried to smooth it out as much as i could, but ... it is what it is

same concept ,  but in a lil bit different location (a few inches farther back than before, it'll make more sence once ya see it with the wheel there)

lets see the gravel gnomes try and get that one .. welded the #$%* out of it ,used heavier steel (1/4") probly bomb proof

had a pretty fun saturday

oh and i ordered tires , went with the Kenda's , i really wanted the Dunlop 404's but me being a cheap ass , combined with me being a broke ass ...... left me few options ... and now that this is my only transport (truck died)  i gotta get it on the road like,  yesterday , ya know

forgot one

i painted the headlight ears with the bed liner, looks better that way i think

... and my grand total after ordering tires , and some other little stuff .....is $561.00(FINALLY found a source for main jets, these Minkuni jets are such a #$%* to find in the states for some reason..and thats not including the mirror i took from the honda, that i have to replace still  ;) )

got the new tires on ,thay are Kenda Crusiers ...and i temporarily stole the taillight from the honda ,

...and now all of a sudden my petcock wants to piss gas everywhere (hence the rag sittin there) ...if it's not one thing it's another right

i also went at the hub with a scotchbrite .. ya can't really tell in this pic , but if you compare the hub with the motor cases you'll kinda see the difference
,now i have to do it to the rest of the alloy stuff

and thanx for the comments Bill .. your input is appreciated as usual  ;) ;D
