Those big open water ferry ships are much different than our river barge ferries.

Oh I didn't think about it. This was over the pamlico sound. Took close to 3 hours.

Nice lookin' F Sean, but uhhhh, where d'ya get that piece of pie?
I've got some favorite eating spots along M22:
House of Flavors in Manistee
Cabbage Shed in Elberta
Joe's Friendly Tavern in Empire
Fischers Happy Hour near Leland

My favorite might be a PBJ at the roadside park near Arcadia:

Kevin, I took that exact picture last year when I rode my Wing around Michigan with Sean and MJstone during the Relay Rally. The scenery and riding during that stretch of the trip was amazing. Once I have another bike to ride (hopefully my 550 project sometime this summer, a trip up that way is on the agenda.

Danny, if things work out for me I'd hope to meet you on the relay ride this year. I have a luggage rack now and a hankering to do more than day rides. Arcadia is always on my list of places to go.

The way things are going with my project I may have to beg Sean or Eric to lend me a bike for this year. I really don't want to miss it.

Thanks Steve-o, I'm really happy with the fresh paint on this old bike!

750k I feel really spoiled up here with the roads, I lived in burnaby for 4-5 yrs. found city riding very stressful.

I'm lucky to live so close to the country side. In about 20 minutes, I get to see sights like these few pics from my short, but sweet ride yesterday. Conyers, Ga is so lovely.

That second shot of the bike by itself is a definitely candidate for the 2015 SOHC4 calendar. I think it's time to get a thread going for that.
