Missed this thread!

My favs in no particular order.

Guinness
Bells Oberon
Sam Adams (never on tap though, tastes funny to me)
Goose Island 312
Rolling Rock (if I'm feeling cheap)
Leine Red
If I'm at the bar I'll usually drink Miller or Coors because I'm broke and real beer gets expensive quick. I could just drink less though......

Blue Moon is good, too. Never buy it because I can find Oberon pretty easy and it's way better.

My two favorite beers are Double mountain's IRA (india red ale) and Laurelwood's red ale. I'm attempting my version right now.

just got a 1/4 keg of blue moon belgian white for the newly finished kegerator! life is good. pics to follow

Any beer that is usually served with a piece of fruit I have a hard time with. I have had blue moon but it's a little too light and fluffy for my tastes.

I like beer that bites you. The kind that if you drink it on an empty stomach it will make it churn a little.

Yeah I just like heavy dark beers is what it comes down to.

Though sometimes a nice light colored beer extra cold on an extra hot day is just what the doctor ordered.

Yeah I just like heavy dark beers is what it comes down to.

You sure you don't like the dark kind just because it was discounted?

As I recall from my misspent formative years, the best beer I ever had, was from the keg we stole from the local country club @ 2 AM-ish.  We had already imbibed on something detrimental to liver function before the collection and taste event.  But, the remaining brain cells recall it was a light colored beer consumed in near total darkness. (There may or may not have been moonlight, and the dashboard lights were tinted.)

I wish dark beer was cheaper. That would make me much happier.

When I drank Beer and lived on the West Coast in the 1970's, I enjoyed Olympia Beer. On my trips home I would bring the unavailable Coors and give it to my friends and keep the OLY for myself.
