Wow - an empty forum! I've been looking up the SOHC4 world tour; count me in for an excuse for a ride. It seems the Kiwis want to go first; why not? Might as well get Godzilla used to waiting for sheep to clear the road before coming out here to Aus to confront all those 'roos...

Hey guys,

I've asked Terry to be Team Leader/Coordinator/Head Sheep Shagger (oh wait, that's in NZ) so you/I can have one go to guy. It's all your ride so work with Terry and make it all you can. If you have as much fun as us North Americans are having it will be a blast. Just hope those Kiwis figure out how to get Godzilla to you. Please post or PM any questions you may have. I think that the East Coast run should be fairly straight forward and we can work out the best way for the rest.
With the vast open distances involved from there, Godzilla may have to do a bit of jetsetting which won't be a problem.

Once Mick knows who will be involved, we can work out an itinerany for Big G.

We'll have to find out from Jerry where he goes after the Oz run but one thought I had was that Darwin could be the last port of call and I could send him on from here to wherever he's headed.

Thanks to Mick (haha good timing) i've come back to have a looksee, it's been a while, I hope everyones well.

I would take part in the world tour but I can't be stuffed pushing my 350F from one place to another just to be part of it ;D

And I don't think my other bike would fit in too well being a different brand and all it's mods.

Ooops, not quite Townsville. I'm at Greenbank just south of Brissie. I'll be more than happy to play, but for how long will depend on roster &/or if I can get some leave in time.

I already have my t'shirt & patch, paid the rego on the bike today so I'm all set.

Hey cousins, as we have yet to sight GZ and most of my predictions were based on getting him in NZ by October I think I can safely say GZ will be spending Christmas in Ozzie.
Most of my riders will be riding on their free weekends so there goes a month and a half when we start riding.
If you see the lizard by December I think you will be very lucky....Hush. :)

Whenever you guys are finished is fine.

We still have to work out where to send GZ when you're finished with him.
Initially, we were thinking about getting you to send him up here to Darwin, but it looks as though we're going to be in for a big Cyclone/ Wet Season up North this year, so it might be an idea to keep the Lizard south of the Tropic of Capricorn so that he doesn't get blown away with the wild weather.  :o

Around about April/May, the weather will start settling down a bit up this way.

We'll sort it out as time gets a bit closer mate.  8)

G'Day Mick. The weather up here - Burdekin - is already deteriorating. The predictions are for a wetter than average wet season and six cyclones to occur along the north east coast during the first quarter of 2012. I just hope that none are as big as Yasi! Pat

I was thinking about you as well with the tropical weather building up.
Last Sunday afternoon was the first severe storm that hit us in Darwin but we came away unscathed.

All of the indications are there for a big one this year.
I had the boys cut down an African Mahogony tree this afternoon which was a beaut shade tree but they can do untold damage if they come down in a big wind.

When Hush and Scunny and the boys have finished with GZ, we can work out the best way for him to travel.

Here are some pics of the African Mahogony tree that's laying horizontal now.

It is nice timber mate but I did some horse trading with it to get the rest of the tree limbs chipped up for garden mulch and also the job site cleaned up.
There's a guy up here who hand makes some great furniture pieces with Jarrah and Cypress Pine inlays and it certainly is a work of art.

We'll have to start planning for GZ when he arrives here after NZ.
I reckon that it is going to be pretty wet up this way until about April/May so I was thinking that it might be a better idea to let GZ do some terrorising somewhere else first.
Just wondering if you had any thoughts about that mate or any of the other guys might like to throw some ideas around.
