Putting tank Logos back on?
« on: May 31, 2015, 10:56:48 AM »
Any tips for putting the tank logos back on?  I have a 1973 CB350F.  The little tank inserts were rusted to pieces and fell apart once I got the logo removed.  Painting the tank then want to put the logo back on and not sure if I should file down the pins and use tape or if someone makes replacement inserts that the pins go into.   Same question for the side cover logos.

You can leave the pins on and cut a hole in body side moulding tape available at any auto parts store. The 3M tape is a clean install and doesn't interfere or chip paint. Use the pins to line the logos up and voila!

Thanks!  Where should I go looking for original part numbers so I don't have to bug people on the board about it anymore?
