I was being facetious.
Gesundheit! You should have that cold look at  ;) (I know you were, as was I)  ;D Stev-o enjoys some camaraderie on his build threads. Keeps him upbeat while kicking the dead batteries down the driveway  8)

One word...Lithium Ion Battery.  Supposed to hold a charge for a year.

It's a fairly new Scorpion, I was quite surprised when it failed.

Good question, haven't checked that as it hasnt been an issue. This is prolly the bike has set since getting it running.

Just pulled the seat and charging the battery...

I've had two lithium batteries die.  Once they fall below a threshold voltage, they cannot come back, unlike AGM batteries.  I know use AGM batteries unless I have to hide the battery in a small space or save every ounce.

I check them by putting a test light (or multimeter)between the disconnected ground cable and neg. terminal on the battery and if it lights up then there's a short.

Actually MY neck is a little sore, racers arent the most comfortable bikes to ride.
But once you roll on the throttle all that is forgotten!!

So, Stev-o...if you're able to meet us next week, I'll let you ride my rented Harley if you let me take that beauty out for a spin!  ;)
I would even bring you a bottle of the Ole Smokey Salted Caramel Whiskey as a present.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the look of that bike with the fairing on it.

Hey Ron....as much as I would love love love to ride your rental Hardly [not really] looks like I'll be out of town.  If plans change, I'll be sure to let you know.

I have one more suggestion to add to your trip agenda, but not sure if you'll be as far north as Burnet?

Since it's a "racer", I thought I should have a number on it.  I chose Lucky 13...
