Humanity at its best. What you are doing for your neighbor is fantastic. I have some old cl350 pipes and mufflers I was going to sell on eBay if you want them for this project. They aren't perfect underneath the wrap but they could be sanded and cleaned up or just re-wrapped.
So you are donating this project to your neighbor when it is finished!?! If so, that's pretty dang amazing! Looking forward to your build up of this bike!Rachet~

Frame looks great, how did you do the round off on the back? Also is that same motor? It looks brand new! Lots a work, huh explain how you cleaned that motor up!

Lots a work, huh explain how you cleaned that motor up!the rear hoop is a piece of round tube welded/filled and ground smooth. that was all 10diamond. the motor is the same one as before. there's nothing a little simple green and a scotch bright pad can't handle.....except this motor so i threw a half gallon of simple green at it. painted the cases and jugs, then polished up the shinny bits on the buffer. my craftsman buffer has definatly earned its keep. i threw in some new rings and honed the cylinders.
Nice call on that blue!I hope you take this in the spirit in which it's meant; it looks like French blue (bleu?) on my monitor... I like French blue. Also looks like a blue available on the BMW M3 I think called Sebring Blue. Anyway, good call.
