I pulled the broken top triple clamp off my 350F, attempted to straighten the headlight ear, and drilled some new handle bars.  Nice weather is coming so reassembly is a few days away.

I did that on one of my overflow tubes about a month ago, good to hear it might not have been for nothing! Thanks!

Was ready to do a carb sync but it idled like chit.  Got the diaphragms and idle mixtures screws out.  Shot some chit in there to let them soak a bit and then blow them out.  It has worked a few times before.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Okay my tins arrived from the painter on Saturday last weekend.  I spent a couple hours re-assembling the bike.  Other than needing to add final gas and oil lines she's done.

I just came back to take a look at it. (I'm working in the ER tonight and I need some bike porn to make it all better.) The whole thing is just so well balanced. Very nice, sir.  8)

The majority of the bottom of my tank is JB welded. It's held up for about two years so far. I'm sure the POR-15 liner helps too.

I normally don't care for honda choppers, but that is one VERY nice looking bike. Very well executed. You can tell a lot of thought went into making it all work together.

Today I finally got the 750 looking more presentable. 3 hours of degreasing and polishing and she looks like this:

She still isn't perfect, but it looks good from a distance. Then I put in 10 miles running around town. Aside from maybe a lose cam chain, she runs great! Too bad I will be selling her soon :(

seeing those finned covers painted on that chopper makes me want to paint the ones on my cafe styled 750, in the brilliant blue that the frame is painted in. oh yeah, paint will be flying tomorrow.  ;)

well today i starting mock up n my new cafe tail.. good old green foam flower foam from walmart works great. then i decided to take my motor out of the frame again because the paint wasnt good enough. plus the valve cover is geting polished.. didnt want to take it out thought it would be a pain with my nice powder coated frame and all. decided to try and lift it out instead of laying the bike down..my buddy helped me and it took less than 30sec to lift it out no issues.. this is the way im doing it from now on...

I finally stopped procrastinating, got the angle grinder out and bobbed my front fender.
