3 questions:    Who's in?  When?  Where might connections happen?

I think you can count on me and Terry/CB650.

GJ Steve, Pinhead, Eydugstr, Craig, Paul, who else??? New blood?

The real question is: are you going to ride your own bike this year, Jerry? ??? You've already done the hard work! ;D

And that's a damn good question! Mocked up most of the front end after getting back in from the road today. Still waiting on a few new small parts for the fender. I refuse to put old used fasteners, etc back on! Threading wiring through the bars too. Gonna set up the controls/bars next then brakes. Biggest issue might be getting the CR31's on and set up properly in time for GZ v2.0. Gotta install some "ports" for synching but haven't looked into that yet. Guess I could go with the stockers in the mean time. If that damned rear sprocket had showed up I could be doing the rear too. Dealer is closed until Tuesday so no more parts until then. Should have plenty to do until then. It's likely a race for me vs those before me  ;D

I want to participate! I've never gone beyond the Springs on a bike so this will be a new experience to look forward too and learn from.

Terry, you up for babysitting?  ;)  He'll never forget this  ;D

Keith, you should stop by one day while I'm "playing" in the garage before I get the bike finsihed.

I have 3 or 4 orders in and should pick up some tomorrow. My latest and largest recent order should be in next Tuesday but I have to work that Th-Fr-Sa so that Sunday should be rockin in the garage. Hell, I could be to the fluid install stage by then. Wanna help install more/another steering head bearings in the spare?  ;) Keith could come hang out then.

Who knows where/when?!! I created this monster last year and do not have a clue this year  ;D MUCH less stress  ;) AND we can take our time  8) We had issues like available riders, available bikes and weather err blizzards and scorching heat last year that dictated what we did. Not this year.

Grand Junction Steve is lurking too BUT... DOHC 900 can NOT transport GZ by himself otherwise that'd make a great link to Utah. We do have the other new guy Proto somewhere in NW CO. He rode down to AZ already so maybe he and Steve can link up with Curemode! Where are you located Proto?

Utah did NOT have ANY riders last year, glad you're with us Curemode. As far as a route goes it is what you make it, just gotta connect with the rider before you and after you.

We had a number of wanna be's last year. Maybe they will actually ride this year. Not likely I can cover for everyone and ride 2000+ miles again.

Who tha fuk is Ron Swanson anyway? Maybe you'll be warmer this year too Mr I'm a Landscaper LMFAO last year.  ;D 8) ::)

Ron Swanson is a guy that I want to grow up to be. :)

And I don't know if I can ride as much as last year but I would like to give it a go. How far out is that big green traveler? Last year I was more on top of what was going on.

Nice where are you at Proto? I am up in Lehi which is just south of Salt Lake City so if we could meet somewhere up north I think it would be easier for both of us. I will do some map checking to see what might work.

Does anyone know if we have to hit Wyoming? Looks like on the map that was the plan.

Hey guys, just to let you know I'll be watching your thread and contacting you as the planning continues. I'm located in Nebraska and it looks like NE will be picking up the relay from the KS riders and running it through Nebraska to the CO riders....

I've started a thread for our team http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=105119.0

The thread has a list of our confirmed riders and I plan to list your team riders on it as well, sort of a directory to make contacting each other easier

Curemode, the meet in Evanston sounds good to me!  I would love to ride Highway 191 from Vernal to Rock Springs and then cut over to Evanston via I-80.   I have always wanted to ride a motorcycle on that route by Flaming Gorge Reservoir.  Miles and miles of curvy, mountain roads!  June 1st is fine with me too, depending on if GZ.2 is still on schedule.  If not, my schedule is flexible.

Great sounds good Proto. Yeah my schedule is a little more limited I can do Fri-Mon. So if it holds that will be the meet.

Hello!     Taxi in Tulsa OK.  As the time gets closer, I am looking for handoff info for Kansas.  As far as I know the handoff is set for the 19th. Just don't know where and when. Zeek and I ( Tulsa and OKC) will make the run up , and possibly Coke (ARK) also.  Let us know what you think.               thanks           Taxiscooter
