Attention Team Southeast Coastal! GZ is awaiting entry into our neck of the woods (AGAIN!) and in the care of 70CB750 in Nokesville, Virginia.

Nokesville is a long way from ATL. I do have next weekend 10/27 and 28 to ride (my wife is out of town!) so if some one can get him closer to GA/NC or even MT. Airy NC, I'm sure me and Pandora are up for the challenge. Regardless I'm planning on leaving here early Saturday morning for Ashville ,NC where I'll spend the night with friends. On Sunday, jump on the Blue Ridge Parkway headed east for maybe 4 or 5 hours before I turn toward ATl. Let me know by Thursday evening,otherwise, you'll find me some where on the BRP.

Could this be our opportunity? bluez will be in Ashville, NC on Saturday/Sunday 10/27 and 10/28, or even as far as Mt. Airy, NC if necessary. What do you guys think? Is this our link-up?

I sold my CB650 this spring and now have an 87 Goldwing. However, if any unfulfilled stretches on the Blue Ridge Parkway or vicinity, my GL1200 is technically still a SOHC4 and a Honda too. So, if I can help I would be happy to.

We are exchanging messages now but the bottom line is:

Godzilla is with me (Warrenton area)
There is a possibility in Asheville NC to hand hime over
I have only Saturday to ride this weekend , I could get him to Lynchburg by noon +/-

That would great if Blueridge Runner can get GZ, I had planned on doing the exchange on Sunday before I headed back, but my riding schedule is loose and I'm soloing so there's a chance for Saturday for me, but I know I can't make it to Lynchburg and then face a ride from there to ATL the next day, I have to get back here in one piece or my wife will kill me. Keep me posted, Vern

This is the new and improved GZ 2.0! (He's left-handed) GZ 1.0 was right-handed and will be returning from England with SamAuto for a reunion in Valdosta (or Atlanta on the way to Valdosta) at the Manufacturer's Cup motorcycle drags at the South Georgia Motorsports Park the weekend of 11/9 thru 11/11! The MAN Jerry RxMan is flying in for the event and I'll be picking up GZ 2.0 to finish off this year's relay with the Florida leg. Should be quite an event.

Thanks for the help! I think this will work!

Well, we have plans in place. But, watching some of the storm forecasts I wonder if there should be a "Plan B" in case things go bad weather-wise?

We'll play it by ear. The forecasts we are getting nearly stalls Sandy (4mph forward progress) today and tomorrow hanging off the coast of Florida before picking up more forward speed and moving on. The forecast tracks seem to track North and East (out to sea) before turning back West with landfall forecast for MD/NJ around Tuesday. Ultimately the decision is up to those of you that are planning to ride and I highly recommend keeping an eye on the sky (and the weather channel!). I think the inland route that has been discussed will be beyond the reach of the storm over the weekend, but please do not take any unnecessary risk if the weather turns bad. We still have one more weekend after this (11/2 thru 11/4) to get "IT" to Atlanta if need be, even if wardenerd has to run "IT" down the coast and I ride up for the handoff somewhere in SC, then delivering to Valdosta the following weekend.

That would be great! I would likely return from Valdosta for Florida by mid-day on Sunday, 11/11 (and miss the final rounds...DAMMIT!). Saturday, 11/10, will be an all-day drag-fest at the SGMP Manufacturer's Cup Motorcycle drags!

Me and Pandora will be leaving ATL Saturday morning at 7, I', going to pickup up the BRP in Sylva and take it to Asheville and visit some friends, then I'll continue to Hickory where we'll be bedding down at the luxurious Motel 6 for the night. I have a new pair of Tourmaster pants to break in so I should be okay, too bad I don't have electric gloves. I'll text you guys when I'm on the road, ride safe and keep warm! Vern
