Talked to a friend of mine today who was the tech director for Scooter Kizer in the Prostar days. Told him of our problems this past weekend. He told me they did some measurements and found that one lane is longer than the other one. Also, the starting line is not perpendicular to the center line of the track, meaning the starting line is crooked! I found that the right lane was funky. I would light the prestage light, move no more than one inch, and the stage light came on? Never had that happen at ANY other track, and I have raced at quite a few. My best lights were .040, most slower, and my pro tree lights are usually in the .005-.015 area. And the shut down is downhill! Needless to say, I am not impressed with this track, like it matters. The only good thing is it had good traction. Now, I am not trying to make excuses, but Jim is correct. Other people than me were having the same issues. I will be trying to noodle this race out for quite awhile. Still better than being at work!
