Bill, thanks for bringing the oil tank. I didn't know it was in the truck til we got up the road. Hit me up on the $$$ via text.

Link to youtube video of my pass against a two stroke dragbike in super eliminator. I made it to the final 4 bikes(semis) before I had a brain fart and released the clutch too fast. The bike bogged and couldn't recover, stalling it at the line.

Frank, your bike sounds pretty darn good.  ;D
Still pretty solid for a tired motor.

It's starting to puke oil out really bad now. Significant amount of blow by and seeping from more places than ever.. Teardown imminent. I didn't realize I had 3 seasons since I freshened it up.

FRANK: Riding three bikes in four classes re-mines me of SHINE and JT  [ TEASLEY ] as the left hand has to be deadly unless your on a slider !!!!! You might have seen JT in two finals on the Monday show = him no-bar them bar and box = he JT runner up both classes.
Is your SEL record still standing for 2016 ?

Pops,

I lowered the super eliminator ET record I set in 2015 at this race from 10.65 to 10.57. It'll carry over into 2017 until someone lowers it again. The new national index for the CB/SS class is now 10.52 (breakout). Bill was able to take the mph record from me. All good-- I don't have the caliber of equipment Bill possesses (possessed) so its not surprising his bike would out mph mine. That head started breathing half track and the extra cc's pulled away from me hard. It was interesting to watch the gap increase from behind.

Frank is the man. But Grasshopper coming, new MPH record is 123.27, old one was 120.08 I think, Frank can tell us. He should be complimented for his pass in SEL, he ran 10.579 at 122.22!,It would have been a MPH  record ,but Cobra Girl came on and out MPH'd him! Thanks Mike! I'll post a pic of the pass in a while. I'll hang my hat on the fact that in SET we ran 10.55! Just didn't run it at the right time.  I ran 10.74 against Frank's 10.57. We going have fun in SEL next year! I ordered pistons today....same size as Franks....just not old! Bill

Bill, it like me running that 10.36 in street ET the morning before I set the original super eliminator record. Wrong class so it didn't count -- moot point for me

Stay tuned- I can guarantee you will see a 9 second pass on a no bar SOHC at some point during the 2017 season.

Another video on the SOHC in super eliminator against a two stroke dragbike. The bike wheelie so it bogged just a bit off the line. I got the win.

How many SEL races does Man Cup have in 2017 ???? If one of these CB750 based HONDAS rolls down the 1320' at 9.99 ET that would be a race to see anytime of the day or night.  Seems Man Cup Finals might be better for a 4 day event with Sport classes racing Thursday and Friday down to a 16 bike final and paring on SUPER SUNDAY EVENT = With a Cold November night track on Saturday or Sunday that could be a fatal surface to run on with so many bikes in the lanes. In all the years at IDBA FINALS in MEMPHIS the weather was perfect for the two wheel racer. Oil on the rear tire at the big end could be a way for years of pain and cost, or loss of a rider......
With ST/ET racer all coming back for the second round makes for a long day [ 9am first round and next second round 9pm. ] right Wilbur ? = how many was there in that class this year, times 2

AMEN! I would rather see the standard 21 points for tech (11 points) and one qualifying pass (10 points) with round one being an elimination round that accrues points for the advancing rider (10 points per round) = NO MORE CARRY OVER TO THE NEXT EVENT JUST TO COMPLETE THE PREVIOUS EVENT!
