Get a hold of Earl,s Supply.. Make your own..
. I myself dislike the banjo fittings..never look as nice or clean as a regular fitting..

I am starting to wonder...what is it about wrapping tape around a braided line, cutting it with a hacksaw, assembling it with two wrenches... That seems to make this a daunting task?

Did you mean Earl's Performance?

http://www.summitracing.com/search/brand/earls-performance/part-type/brake-fittings?N=400041%2B4294947829

I dont really care to spend $100 on supplies and tools to make an OEM style $15 line, Frank!

It might be an extra couple fittings, but you can buy the 10mm banjo to -3AN and the adapter from the caliper to -3AN and buy a preassembled Earl's or Aeroquip -3AN female to female line.  Total cost was going to be around $25 when I priced it before I found out about Slingshot.  Wish I could get another from him though :(

Some things are just worth paying money for..
Also you can shorten an existing line from their components,  and reconfigure..

Gotta be easier to make and  install than a stock airbox.. The best fitting brake lines are the handmade ones..

I bought my set from coastgaurd1975 on eBay. Great guy to work with and I thought very reasonable prices. He made custom length lines for me and used fittings I asked for

Try cyclebrakes.com, I think they can custom-make Galfer lines with different colors and different fittings...

Earl's is about the easiest, and the finished line is DOT approved (no custom line from a hydraulic shop will be, not that it really matters). It gets expensive if you copy the Honda plumbing... but using a single line from MC to caliper it's fairly cheap: you need a switch banjo for brakelight activation though. This also cleans up the system and makes bleeding out all air much easier - that switch tee is a nightmare to de-air. One line and two fittings will be all you need. Remove the seat from the caliper hardline port (screw a sheetmetal screw in and pull it out) and you have a 10x1 (maybe x0.75?) thread that a banjo bolt will go in. You may need 2 crush washers under the banjo to clear the counterbore. Braided flex line with a slightly angled banjo on the caliper end looks good and works great. Just leave enough for flexing, a tyrap at the fender loop keeps it in place.

The Streamline line I bought came with both banjo bolts and crush washers! That was a huge plus (and a surprise because I had ordered them separately)

For decades you could get premade lines in 2 inch increments..Drag Specialties. Was one supplier.  Then you need an adaptor for both ends..  But as I mentioned it is often a compromise. Making the line to fit your bike, can look much better..
The only place I would maybe run a banjo is on the 500. Calipers, and late 750..but there are ways around it.
I just don't see the attraction of the often bulky banjo, plus there is two surfaces to leak rather than one..

+1 on the Goodridge brake lines from Z1. They have the adapters to eliminate the hardlines and every size you need for any handlebars. Good price to , best I could fine.

He says he is closed till he gets supplies:

Unfortunately we are still closed due to our supplier not being able to get us 10mm banjo fittings. This is THE MOST used fitting for our offerings and we can't accept orders without them. So until they are available and in our possession again we will remain closed. Sorry for the inconvenience. We'd like to make money just as much as you'd like to order hoses. :(

I would also recommend the Goodridge lines with their fittings. As 754 stated, you could also forgo the banjo and get a fitting that adapts from the -3AN of the brake line right to the thread of your caliper. I will be using them on my AP Racing calipers.

I go to our local speed/race shop. Most all areas of the country have small NACAR tracks, and near these tracks are suppliers. These hometown NASCAR guys buy this stuff all the time. The place I go to is in a Welder's Shop and does race car stuff on the side. You can get just about any length braided line a bike could need off the rack and then pick the fittings you need, just like Home Depot.

One of the things I have learned restoring and riding vintage bikes is to check out everything around you. We had a Hobby World open near us and I just cruised the aisles looking at stuff that you never know what you might need someday. Trouble is, I always forget where I saw it at when the time comes.  :D
I like poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking at dead things with a stick.
