It is Dennis, Bill was runner up in 2012, we both competed in it in 2013.

Box race for bar bikes. But they also have a street bike class, just not paying much $$. I'll let the wife race in the bar class and i'll run my Crazy 8's KZ on motor in the street class. I need the seat time.

Two round wins for me and Fletcher. The wife lost first round due to bike dying right at the start line. Took it back to the pits and made some carb adjustments to richen it up. She bought back in and won 2nd round. The cool air is affecting my Honda. Lost 60' and overall ET. Lean!!!!!. Will up the dial in for next round. Gotta love bracket racing. 8:35pm waiting for round 3.

Gladys made it to the final three bikes but had electrical issues so we forfeited the round. Dave Fletcher(Fastbike) went to the finals against another local racer. His opponent had a better light and ran dead on his dial- tough numbers to beat. Dave fought a hard battle. I made it to the final 4 in street but redlite to give my opponent an easy win. The Honda ran good all day.

Anyone who is thinking of going weather watching or competing
Needs to come to this
Besides catching up with good friends like frank and Gladys who pitted next to David
And I , there were pro bikes from all over the southeast.
There were two top fuel Harley's that put on a great show.
Nothing like standing behind these bikes as they do there burn outs
Cough, cry, cough, cry. Got to love nitro.
They made 2 pass,s and got into the mid
6,s in the quarter
Funny cars, sling shot dragsters, the old gassers, and everything in between.
2 pro mod cars that had a grudge race for $5000.00 best 2 out 3.
Nice dinner afterwards with Frank, Gladys
And friends
Long day
Got home around 1:30 in the am
Let's do this one again

Jim, thanks again for the after race, dinner invitation. We enjoyed the fellowship. Had fun with you guys all day. Congratulations to Dave on the runner up spot. I'm wondering if the extra pass he kept mentioning would have helped in the end. That .004 package was going to be tough to beat.

WEATHER STATION racing is what those folks got in their bag of tricks ....... DA DA DA DA the number your carbs live or die or fat or lean ...... on the 1320'. Flags down the sides of the track are the weather vanes for head, tail or side help or problems with ET dial in on a bike. .004 package is a CONSISTENT racer at any track

Here's a pic of the wife waiting in the lanes for the next round of eliminations. I hate the electrical issue sideline us going into the semi final round. I've about finished her new car tire bike so i'll have time over the winter to sort the old bike out before next season.

Bill had some people over at his house working on the house and he was working on his bikes, getting them ready for Valdosta. I rode my 750 over to pick up some parts Saturday afternoon and see him for a few minutes.
