I anticipated gas price would spike with the start of festivities. The pickup was down to less than a quarter tank so I went to Costco on Monday where regular was $2.72. It is $3.09 this afternoon, so I saved around 11 bucks. It will be more tomorrow I am sure. I see oil prices are up sharply today and the stock market has responded accordingly with another big drop.  The speculators are making money.

It also takes more crude oil to make a gallon of diesel than a gallon of gasoline...

IMHO fuel for Diesel engines today is WAY different than say 1970. Today maybe they are better at manipulating the hydrocarbons than they were or bothered to be in 1970.

Diesel at the local Shell station went from $3.80 yesterday to $4.30 today, while gas stayed at $3.30. At the Chevron station down the road gas was still $3.00 and diesel was still $3.50.
Gas at the Shell station is now $3.70, and diesel is $5.00.
Gas at the Chevron station is now $3.30, and diesel is $4.80.

its a lN-110 hilux diesel..

Hi
Can you afford to pull up to the fuel pump's in Denmark

Diesel is expensive here in TX, US $3.09 while reg gas is comparatively cheap - US $2.27

Diesel is now $4.49 and reg gas $2.98, a jump of $1.40 & .71 in the space of 8 days.

We took a road trip over the weekend to visit our daughter,  glad my wife's Nissan SUV sips the gas, about 30mpg, even at speeds up to 80mph!

I reckon I wouldn't buy gas at those stations when the Prescott Costco has regular at $3.59 today, and so do a few others.  The Shells and the Chevrons around here are also higher than hell compared to others like Walmart, Fred Meyer, Albertson's, etc.

The independent Gilligan's station in Mayer, about 8 miles south of here, has gas for $3.70, with no membership fee, not to mention they make a great T.A.B.(turkey, avacado, bacon) sandwich. ;D

I fly into Vegas Friday night for my ex's funeral yesterday, gas is $4.74 at the shell and Chevron stations I passed.  My son paid $3.99 as we left Pahrump last night to head back into Vegas.

We had some fun at the end of the afternoon going out to the pit to shoot some lead at the targets. My brother in law brought along the Lugar pistol he brought along, his dad back from the Battle of the Bulge(WWII) that he got off of the German officer he had plunked. It had a trigger that is very hard to pull, but still fun.

My brother told me today that gas in our hometown in CA is $6.00/gal. For some reason gas has always been more expensive there than some other parts of the state, even though they pump it out of the ground there?

$5.25 diesel here yesterday. A friend that ran the NHRA including national events last year is staying close to home this year. He was even on TV in the final round in Super Gas I think. He said 5mpg at +$5 a gallon is too expensive to go.

Filled up the Z1 for less than 10 bucks with non-eth at the local station on Saturday, I think it was $3.99/gal.

So much fun for 10!

Well, there was a time when I would have thought that $10 in my bike(s) was just outrageous, but in today's world anything for $10 is a deal...

I top filled my car yesterday to see latest price for gasoline.
98 RON (90 MON/93 PUMP)
Ca $7.91US/gallon

2 weeks earlier which for us was relatively low
$6.91US/gallon

Too much tax over here.

I filled 2 gas cans for my bikes 2 weeks ago. 20+10 liter. (7.92 gallons)
A good investment ;)

Gas prices…yeah.
Here in Central Utah. Fuel has gone up $1.00 per gallon in less than 2 weeks. I was stoked when it continued a decline per gallon this year to $2.45 which it was four years ago.  Today it’s $3.55 and who knows where it’s gonna go. I’m glad I live in a small town where it doesn’t take but minutes to get anywhere for anything you need…well except In N Out #1.
