Looks like I missed out. Foresee anything in the future? Would I have to have a running sohc to be eligible? lol

There's always 2012  :D

A running SOHC4 is not a necessity as I am the ultimate example considering I was on a loaner and the Relay is my baby  ;) I should have one for next year though if I can find all my loose parts.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

well, i might have spoke too soon. i'm found a guy in longmont with a running 73 750 which i'll be picking up friday. this guy has a whole storage unit filled with enough cb750 parts to build a few bikes (minus frames) to include 4 engines (2 turn and 2 are stuck). i think it's a disease to keep buying sohc4's  ;D

I have a job, can buy a few parts, but don't have any time to put the parts on! :(
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Wish i could have made it out to that meet, Jimmy (on the far right, with the green 550) was the one that fathered my 350F, but alas i was having carb/petcock gas leaking problems, which turned out to be a quick enough fix and the bike is running great. Also just picked up a '76 GL1000 that's pretty dirty, hoping to have it ready for next years rally run!

Had a job but it was on;ly a contract gig but on the up side I should hear this week about a full time permanent job. On the down side I might not be able to ride this time because of said job but I stay in line and cross one bridge at a time.

I won't be able to commit to it this year, unfortunately.  Late last year took a new job which entails me working through this year altogether.  My CB will be in pieces (replacing the transmission, chasing down a top end oil leak, installing a frame adapter & dual disc).  But when the tour passes through, if anyone needs a tool loan or access to a garage, don't be afraid to give me a shout.

If for some reason the tour passes through and I do have time off, would like to ride out & meet up, if possible.

Got the job and start Monday but I don't know what my schedule will be after training. The bike is coming along, having two weeks off has really helped but I still need to make my new rear fender and get the seat covered. Then it will be tune up time, so glad the route changed this year and we get to go a few weeks later. I'd love to host or be part of a tune up day when the time comes.

Denver rusted nuts meets once a week "DOWNTOWN".  Or used to.  I will not ride downtown on  a week day during rush hr.   Heff used to have a bunch of us over to hang (lol) cats but he has moved.

Rusted nuts are the only ones that I know of. They meet at Crash 45 on the first Thursday of each month. I'll be there this coming meetup. Should be a good time. I think it starts at 6:00.

Terry, you got no excuse man! It's as close to your place as it is mine.  ;)
