Im in safe. Three still riding surely in GA. Pics soon. Meeting someone from the internet was a lil worrisome. But its all good with the seven I met today! I had a great time.
Agreed its a bit scary. But I met 5 forum contacts on a ride this year and glad i did.

Heres the Handoff in Savannah! Glad Madmtnmotors suggested a back up pic. Here we are in Norway after our stop in Denmark. The SC state capital and a giant mural.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Great posts guys.

I just pulled in safe and sound.  Bunch of pics to come as soon as I figure out how to get em off this I- phone.  Me and Rocker set some land speed records from Columbia SC to Atlanta with Vern and Travis following in the repaired Rav 4.

It was great meeting everybody.  And WOW...what a great couple of days weatherwise.  We were peeling off cloths at every stop.

Wilbur....You are a trooper my friend.  Great job  Also...got to hand it to Vern and Travis for making the trip even though the bikes crapped out.

I think we have a great start here!  Looking forward to seeing the rest of the journey.

This is my second trip as  a result of being on this forum.  It's always like meeting "new old friends".

BTW.....Godzilla had a small run in with Capital Security in Columbia......He totally won the officer over...pic to follow ;D ;D

FWIW.......the two day trek for me and the 550 was 687 miles......can you say "hot tub".....

Nice to meet all y'all and GO GODZILLA.

Cheers,

Bill

Hey Guys,

This is exactly what I expected when I got this started. Great rides, new friends, adventures yet to be seen. Now when all the readers/riders see this maybe they won't worry about taking old bikes on the road. Besides, we supply enough resources for these old bikes to be like-new.

I feel much better living this through all of you! Ain't "the road" a great thing  ;D

Hi All,

I,m not sure where Godzilla spent the night while we were in Bluffton S.C.  All I know is that the last time I saw him he was being held by a very cute and obviously enamored local girl......By the way future riders....that boy (Godzilla) is a chick magnet ;D
