Very nice looking rod.

What is the bolt alloy?
What does it weigh?
How much do it cost?

Very similar to a Carrillo A Beam except the side relief on the Carrillo is usually not as squared off at the top.

Interested to see the price. The Cycle X rods are slightly heavier than stock but much stronger and at $600 for the set, a hell of a lot cheaper than anything else out there right now. Or are they?...

I'll be testing the integrity of the Cycle Ex rods on a new nitrous oxide application very soon. We'll see how strong they are in a real life drag racing platform. I may try Jays' rods when I rebuild the engine in my red drag bike if the price is right. My old RC rods are getting tired.

Package deal when mounted on a lightened and balanced crank ready to be installed?
Only thing needed to do is to verify correct crank/case bearings.

That would be about $1085 ready to install

I am guessing that lightened and balanced crank would depend upon you providing your crank and the degree to which you would want it lightened.  But, why stop there? Why not send him some coated piston to blueprint that whole assembly to shoot towards the $2k or $2500 mark? Right Jay?  8)  ;) :)  :o

My engine runs very smooth after I gave it an APE lightened crank with Carillo rods.

It is fantastic Jay has brought these to market.  It is a very good thing and hopefully it will yield a regularly available product.
Thanks Jay!
I was not being sarcastic or flippant in my post but, more along the lines of blueprinting the rotating parts will yield an ultra smooth motor. It would not be cheap to do it, but it would yield an ultra smooth motor.
