Call me needy but can you post the link for the estimated route?  A simple guess will do.

Best I can tell you is the Rally will be zig zagging through New England. The actual routing is dependent of what you and your team mates develop. It's YOUR ride  ;) make a good one.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

The actual route will cover all the great roads in New England so dont worry ;). Rt 100, VT is definitely in there and I am sure we can pass by Manchester, NH as well. This is a comprehensive ride -which means it goes wherever there are SOHC member and where ever the roads are good. I usually get all around New England in the summer so I doubt we`ll miss anyone.

The actual actual route will be posted sometime late April once we see who is interested in taking part. Suggestions are always welcome.

cheers
Andy

Yeah that is a route Nortstudio plotted out for Times Square in Manhattan up to Woodstock. Nice route actually. Having said that, there are is a whole lot of real estate to cover between Delaware and Times Square.  ;D

Hi Donny glad to have you on board. I passed through Castleton last year on the K4 coming back from the Adirondacks. Went down Rt 30S and then over the Green Mountains. Great back road!

More details to follow on route as it gets nearer the time. Pretty sure it`ll be within riding distance of you Donny ;)

cheers

This will be the thread to plan and co-ordinate the rides through the New England states (CT, MA, VT, NH and ME). Most likely pick up the relay item from Bobby R at the New York border and then it will find its way to the Canadian  border. More updates as the Relay Ride settles on dates in 2011. Keep checking back here for a timeline....

Suggestions for routes are welcome at any time ;) The more interesting (landmarks, scenic viewpoints etc) the better. Lets show the rest of the US just what they are missing  ;D

Get those SOHCs ready...

I'm hoping to partake in part of this ride if the time is right. I'm in central NH at the base of Mt. Washington. If you have never done it ,the ride up the Auto Road to the top is an aw some thing to do. I do it every summer and would not miss it for the world. Something to consider.
Looking forward to seeing the schedule when it comes out.

My Father is near Littleton NH,between Rt 2 and rt 302. He would join in if the Kancamangus or the Notch is involved. Donnyb60. One of my first motorcycle rides was on the back of an early 80s Bmw up the auto rd! The rest of the time we had to hike it. Did ride the Cog once! Santas Village brings back some memories.  Dads a member here. Polecat. He isnt to active.

Join in when you can. Mt Washington Auto Road is on the list as is the Kangamangus, Rt 302 (NH), Rt 100 (Vt), Rt 124 (NH), Portland, ME etc etc....

Riders, please post your logs here:

http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=85509.0

Be as detailed or brief as you like, but please share any eventful moments of your ride, interesting people you may have met, what you liked the most, etc. Don't need lots of pictures, maybe one of the handoff or maybe a group shot of the riders you were with for however far you were able to ride. You don't necessarily have to be the one that carried the baton, but you do have to have already ridden in order to post there.

Please reserve that thread for RIDER LOGS ONLY. Comments to the riders logs there would stretch that thread out to be quite large long before the relay nears completion. By keeping that thread limited to RIDER LOGS ONLY should help improve readability for many of our forum members. I have renamed the "Godzilla Sightings in Daytona!" to "Godzilla Sightings in Daytona AND BEYOND". Please continue to use that thread for posting comments, quick updates, creative pictures of Godzilla, expanding upon the unfolding story of Godzilla's adventures, (almost) anything goes in that thread. Please reserve the Rider Log thread for factual reports and rider's insights only. Our forum moderator will be deleting comments from the Rider Log thread to help promote it's linear progression as our Relay moves forward.

Enjoy the ride guys, Godzilla's comin your way!
