Yup, there's a lot of cool options. Like I wasn't aware that I could've done a start/kill by holding the left blinker and headlight (or whatever it is) Could've saved some money by buying two 2 button m-switches instead of the 2 and 3 m-switch.

Agreed. But I still want to get access to the m-unit to upload my own configurations. As I understand it if I use the alarm option and it goes off, it'll turn off either if I cycle the key or by draining the battery if I'm not around. Would be nice to have duration settings on that.

Was welding and painting the tail section yesterday to hold the battery and my little disk lock. A grinder and paint make up for what the welder ain't...

Thanks Don. I'm using the LFX14A2. Nice and small but still has enough CCA. And should still be fine for the 674 when that goes in.

Actually not really that bad. $40 a piston. And considering they're the 'apparent' industry leader in this stuff (or at least recommended from MRieck) then that's not too bad in my book. I blame CAL for the push! But I'm easily swayed.

Thanks, Dave.  Yeah, I think 210 CCA should be enough -- its the same energy spec as the larger battery to fit the stock battery sleeve in a more compact case.  I'm on it!

I blame Dave for pushing me to dive headlong into my 650 project engine for The Hot Mess.  I would have happily taken another year to do it, but NO, Dave had to cajole me.   ;)

Finally got my m-Unit, and two m-Switches. They're really beautifully made. The m-unit is heavier than I thought it would be. It has a nice weight to it that makes it feel like a quality piece. I got my stuff from TruNetWholesale, cheapest place I found. They have an eBay presence but I went through them directly.
